Momokoya means momoko's shop in Japanese.

It is my pleasure to introduce traditional Japanese metalsmithing techniques, tools and materials to Western metal artists.

​

Momokoya's mission is to spread and keep the traditional Japanese metalsmithing techniques alive beyond Japan. To practice and learn this ancient art form requires the use of various specialized tools and materials. Even in Japan, some tools and materials are hard to purchase.

Momokoya is always looking for craftsperson or companies that can create the those specific tools in the U.S.
